Celery Juice: Intro to my celery juicing journey!


I have been curious about celery juice for quite some time now, yet never pulled the trigger on actually giving it a try. I have read a ton of articles, seen videos about it, and most recently read a book from the Medical Medium series by Anthony William titled “Celery Juice: The Most Power Medicine Of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide”. Needless to say, the more I read about Celery Juice and Celery Juicing, the more appealing it seems!

What caught me right off the bat, were the testimonies of celebrities, actresses, speakers, professors, doctors, authors, and more that have read William’s book and used his research to find relief and progress while using celery juice in their everyday lives. I for one, typically buy or try a product based on customer reviews. I want to make sure that others that have experienced similar issues, or are needing the same product as I am, have found that it works, it’s reliable and it has some teeth to it. I do not like to buy or try things on a whim, especially if I have doubts, or don’t think I will use them long term. So when I saw the first 4 pages (front and back) of this book filled with testimonies from people whom he has helped and reached on various levels with his work, I felt better about really diving into celery juicing and how it could help me.

In his book, William breaks down Celery Juice from beginning to end: why celery, what makes juicing it different from just eating it, what medicinal properties it has, what can it help/cure, how to do it, and more. I found his book to not only be informative (he has been a profound supporter of celery juice for several decades now, and helped to initiate the celery juice movement worldwide), but he makes it easy to understand!

There’s no question that throughout each day, we are exposed to hurtful toxins and chemicals, from our beauty products to the actual foods we eat. These chemicals work their way in to our system, stay there for X amount of time, and depending on our health and genetics, can cause sicknesses and diseases, some of which we never know we have. William explains how celery, as an herb, contains sodium cluster salts, known to break down these harmful toxins and chemicals in our body. Once these toxins and chemicals are broken down, our body can naturally heal, and we can begin to feel relief from sicknesses or diseases we may have been dealing with!


Here is how William describes sodium cluster salts:

“That is, sodium cluster salts are a separate group of compounds that surround the element we know as sodium in celery, all of it arranged in a structured form, almost like our solar system.” (14)

So how do they help us? What makes them beneficial?

  1. “The sodium cluster salts in celery juice are able to neutralize toxins as they’re floating through the bloodstream and organs”. (14)

  2. “Cluster salts defuse the charge [of toxic heavy metals], rendering them inactive and less aggressive, specifically disarming toxic heavy metals such as copper, mercury and aluminum”. (14)

  3. “Sodium cluster salts also fight off unwanted bacteria and viruses”. (14)

Other ways that sodium cluster salts can be beneficial to our health:

  • They help to promote proper liver function and bile production (15)

  • They help to restore proper acidity in our stomachs (15)

  • Give us an insane boost of electrolytes (16)

  • Contain plant hormones that help to regulate the Endocrine System (17)

  • Sodium cluster salts also contain beneficial amounts of digestive enzymes, antioxidants, vitamin C and prebiotics (18-22)


William goes on to further explain why celery juice, and why sodium cluster salts, are vitally important to restore and maintain proper bodily functions and optimal health. He discusses the many different diseases, sicknesses and illnesses that can be alleviated through the consistent use of celery juice, and he even offers a 30 day cleanse, including how to make celery juice, when you should drink it, how much, and what you should do in terms of diet for optimal results and benefits.

I found chapter three of this book to be the most eye opening, as it examined different sicknesses, illnesses, and other ailments that celery juice can help, including acne, brain fog, cancer, diabetes, headaches, high blood pressure, PCOS, psoriasis, thyroid conditions, vertigo, weight problems and more!

I have struggled with acne (it was much worse when I was younger, but at 27, ya girl needs a break!), bloating, tension headaches (I tend to stress alot more than I should ), weight issues, brain fog and more over the years. I know that doesn’t compare to what others have been dealing with, but nonetheless annoying and at times frustrating to deal with. So, I figured it was about time to try celery juicing out, and see if it can help with the little “health problems” I have experienced throughout my lifetime.
